High Fidelity ending / spoiler
Rob (John Cusack) realizes that his Top 5 break-ups were not exactly what he remembered, feeling better after revisiting each. After her dad's death, Laura (Iben Hjejle) asks Rob to take her back. Laura organizes a launch party for the CD that Rob produced. At the party, Barry's (Jack Black) band makes a surprisingly great performance (they perform Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get it On") and Rob finally feels happy. He ends up making a compilation tape for Laura this time.
