Happy Gilmore plot summary
A former hockey player, Happy Gilmore, needs to raise money for his grandmother, who is under fire from the IRS. He needs to find a way to raise $270,000 in order to save the house. He manages to win a golf open, his hockey playing apparently giving him the ability to drive the ball superhuman distances. The tour kingpin, Shooter McGavin, feels threatened by Happy, insulting him. Happy forgets about the money and stays on the tour just to beat Shooter.
