Jack (Bruce Willis) is one of the corrupt cops. He allows Eddie (Mos Def) to escape the state and turns himself in, naming the other corrupt cops to the D.A. He goes to jail and gets out two years later. Eddie opens his bakery in Seattle and sends to Jack a letter and a cake on his birthday.
