The Devil's Tattoo (2002) plot summary
Evil has found a new home.
A group of environmental activists lands aboard an old oil rig, planning to transport the crew off and implant themselves, protesting the government's plans to turn the rig into a living reef. When they get there, no one is on the rig...but they soon realise that something is there.
The maintenance crew is missing and one by one they are killed off by a ghost which possesses the bodies of its victims for a short while.
They discover it was created by the crew and find a circle of markings in a holding area which the thing cannot leave when it has entered it.
