Extremities (1986) ending / spoiler
Marjorie gets the rapist to reveal he came to her house to kill Marjorie and her roommates. Pat and Terry leave to get the police. Afterwards, the rapist breaks down to tears and crawls back into the fireplace. Marjorie sits and waits for the police to arrive.
