Lost ending / spoiler
Boone and Locke find another crashed plane in a tree full of drugs. Locke's legs give in and he can't walk so Boone climbs the tree to investigate. He finds a radio and calls for help saying "We're the survivors of flight 815" and hears someone on the other end saying the same thing - it is not known whether they were just repeating his distress signal or whether the people on the other end were on the flight too and giving the same distress call. The plane falls out of the tree and Boone suffers multiple injuries. Locke takes him back to Jack but despite his best efforts, Boone dies. Claire has a baby boy and names him Aaron. He is kidnapped by the French woman but Sayid and Charlie go after her and rescue him. On the way they go past the plane which held all the drugs and Charlie picks some up. The French woman kidnaps him because she thinks by doing this, 'the others' will give her own child back, who was taken from her many years ago. Mike, Jin, Walt and Sawyer leave the island on a raft and they find another boat, but 'the others' are driving it. They ask to take Walt and when Mike says no, they shoot sawyer and a woman (thought to be Alex, the French woman's child) blows the raft up. Walt is being driven away by 'the others' screaming for help and Mike is floating in the water shouting his name. There is a final montage which shows all the main characters getting on the plane, showing they look just like normal people - Hurley walks past Walt and gives him the thumbs up, and Walt looks up at him and smiles. Hurley sits down and reads a comic book - though we don't find out how they know each other. At the very end, Jack, Locke, Kate and Hurley have blown the hatch up with dynamite they found at the black rock (which turns out to be a pirate ship about 5 miles from any water) and the final scene is Jack and Locke looking down the hatch with the camera focused on them at the top looking down, and the camera is descending down the hatch. We never actually find out what was down there or what the blue light is, only that there is a broken ladder at the top of it. We also find out that the hatch has imprinted the same numbers which the French woman heard on the distress signal, and also the very same numbers which Hurley won the lottery with (and he thinks the numbers are cursed because he has had bad luck since that day). We don't find out why or how the plane crashed. We also never find out exactly what the monster is - the French woman says it's a security system and it attempts to take Locke by pulling him under the ground, but they manage to stop it by throwing dynamite down there. There are a couple of mini, or sub-plots too - Sayid and Shannon become a couple. Claire and Charlie don't become a couple yet. Jin (the Korean guy) stops talking to his wife (Sun) when he finds out she can speak English but they make up towards the end. Walt burned the first raft because he didn't want to leave the island. Walt also warned Locke not to open the hatch - despite the fact that Walt had not seen it, or been told about it. After Boone dies, Locke goes to the hatch distressed and upset, and a very bright blue light comes out of the small window - although we never actually find out what this is.
