The Cooler ending / spoiler
Shelly (Alec Baldwin) is killed by Nicky for allowing Bernie (William H. Macy) to win at the craps table and leave Las Vegas with Natalie (Maria Bello). Nicky has now switched sides to working for Larry. Bernie and Natalie, on their way out of Vegas, are saved by dumb luck when a drunk driver hits their would be killer. Larry becomes the new boss of the casino. The casino is demolished and will be remodeled.
