Under the Tuscan Sun plot summary
Francisco writer Frances(Diane Lane), is offered a free trip to Tuscany after a painful divorce. Once there, she impulsively buys a villa, and proceeds to fix it up. You expect her to fall in love in the first ten minutes of the film, but nothing works out (married, cheating...). While she's tryig to fix her love life, there are many different situations around her. A young polish construction worker falls in love with Frances' young neighbour, but the girl's parents forbid their relationship. Frances' lesbian friends are having a baby, and on partner walks out on the other, leaving the woman stranded, and pregnant. Helen (the single-mother to-be), then moves in with Frances for a place to stay , at least until the baby is born.
