Lost in Translation plot summary
An aging married actor played by Bill Murray who has cast aside his acting integrity in exchange for popular stardom is in Japan for a whiskey commercial. There, he meets a younger woman who is equally lonely as a result of her husband being a professional photographer out on assignments constantly. The two meet, flirt- have an ambiguous relationship for several days but never kiss. "Bob" and "Charlotte" have much in common- both are lonely and looking to find themselves despite being married.
