Dawn of the Dead ending / spoiler

Stephen is bitten and changed into a zombie. Peter shoots him in the head.
In the end the bikers all break into the mall letting thousands of the living dead in. A bloodbath ensures.
Peter and a pregnant Francine escape via their helicopter on the roof. They fly off, low on fuel and seemingly nowhere safe to go.
