Jason's head is finally revealed they slice into his shoulder with a machete "killing" him. The girl and her boyfriend go back to the cottage. Jason jumps through the window (you can see his deformed face) and kills her boyfriend. She gets knocked out, then wakes up later and is on a gurney getting loaded into an ambulence. They don't find Jason.

Trivia: The movie ends with a shot of Mrs. Voorhees old wrinkled head on Jason's shrine. Originally her head was supposed to open its eyes, and smile. Steve Miner comments on commentary how he decided to get rid of the idea, as he felt it would make the movie come across as more cheap and hokey than normal.
Question: At the beginning the 2 kids call Ted to get directions, but when they see their truck being towed, they leave the phone, and chase the tow truck. The truck is taken right around the corner, and Ted is outside, waiting for them. There were no pay phones showing where Ted was, and no cell phones, so how did Ted call them, and get to be right around the corner so fast?
