Murder by Numbers ending / spoiler

Richard, (the blond) is killed at the end when he falls off a cliff into the ocean. Sandra Bullock thought Richard was the real killer, until a last minute revalation proves that the other kid (Justin) killed the woman, and she tricks him into confessing. He is arrested for murder. At the last scene, Sandra Bullock goes to testify at Carl Hudson's parole hearing.
