Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey plot summary
Bill and Ted are killed by evil robots from the future. They try and find help until they end up in Hell. They escape by beating the Grim Reaper at a number of games, go to heaven, meet a brilliant scientist (Station), who builds them good robots. The good robots destroy the evil robots, but the evil robots' creator arrives who is quickly subdued by Bill and Ted, who spend a year (excluding that two-week medieval honeymoon) learning how to play the guitar. They put on a "jolly good show", and get famous.
