Rocky II

After Rocky goes the distance with Apollo Creed, he returns to his everyday life. He retires from boxing, marries Adrian, but had trouble finding a real job. Meanwhile, Apollo Creed loses the respect of the boxing world for not beating an amateur like Rocky, and dismisses the fight as a fluke, challenging Rocky to a rematch. Adrian disapproves of Rocky fighting again, but when she falls into a coma giving birth, she inspires Rocky. Rocky trains again, and defeats Creed in the final round, becoming Champion of the World.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Rocky is proposing to Adrian at the zoo, there are clumps of snow on his right shoulder. When he leans in towards Adrian to pull back her earmuff, the snow is gone. When he goes to kiss her, the snow reappears. When they walk out arm in arm, the snow disappears again. (00:14:15)

Question: What made Apollo change his mind about wanting a rematch?

MikeH

Answer: Creed won the fight, but watched as the media and the public viewed it as a questionable victory. At the end of the fight, Rocky had defeated him, and the only reason he was still standing was that Rocky was holding him up to keep punching him. Creed had a huge ego, and couldn't stand people thinking he only technically won.
