It's the year 2000 and we find Abraham Van Helsing (Christopher Plummer), who has previously encountered Count Dracula (Gerard Butler) in the past, working as an English antiques dealer. Van Helsing, and his apprentice Simon(Jonny Lee Miller,)travel from London to New Orleans during Mardi Gras to rescue Van Helsing's daughter Mary (Justine Waddell)from becoming one of Dracula's brides.
