Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ending / spoiler
Duke and Dr. Gonzo go on a drug-fueled bender through the city which neither of them can remember. No articles are ever actually written. Dr. Gonzo catches a plane away from Vegas. Duke gets all introspective about Tim Leary for a while, then starts driving back to Los Angeles to be just another freak in the freak nation.
